Make Yourself at Home

Kindly take a seat in the downstairs lobby area and make yourself at home. Please call our office to inform us of your arrival. Dr. Kennedy will personally greet you and give you a short tour to help you feel even more at home. While you wait, help yourself to some water, located in the downstairs hall-way. Feel free to use the rest-room.

We have two facilities. The first is located on the main floor across from the lobby door; the second bathroom is located upstairs directly across from Dr. Kennedy’s office. If necessary, take a moment to finish your office paperwork. An additional copy of our forms will be waiting for you on the main lobby desk if needed. You or your guests may also choose to enjoy a lovely stroll around our beautifully manicured grounds.

I am so glad I found Dr. Jodi. I know more about my body and I feel confident she will make me feel better without a prescription.

We Explain Everything First

Before arriving at our office, Dr. Kennedy will personally call you to talk about your health concerns and goals to determine if her services are likely to help you.

If it looks promising, Dr. Kennedy will schedule a thorough evaluation where she will perform a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, chiropractic and nutritional tests. Your blood pressure and posture will be assessed. Your body will be taken through a variety of movements that will stretch and compress your tissues in an effort to reproduce your symptoms and identify the problem. As such, it is important to avoid any pain medication prior to your examination unless absolutely necessary.

She uses Applied Kinesiology muscle testing to determine whether the root of your problem is of a physical origin that will require cranial sacral therapy, chiropractic adjusting, conditioning or massage versus an energetic imbalance that may require reflexology or acupressure versus a chemical issue that may need detoxing or nutritional supplementation.

Rest assured, when you are with Dr. Kennedy, you will have her undivided attention. She will personally answer any questions that you have about your care during or after the session.

Your Second Visit

Report of findings

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

On your report visit, we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings.

This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following day. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain circumstances we make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Regular Visits

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

In a word: no. A typical visit may require just a few, highly-focused, minutes.

But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up what your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and we can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. We do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.
